Industrial Valve Supplier for Taiwan — CPC, Formosa Plastics, CSBC Shipbuilding

CPC Corporation's Dalin refinery, Formosa FPCC Mailiao petrochemical complex, and CSBC shipbuilding in Kaohsiung drive significant valve demand — API and JIS dual-certified valves available.

Taiwan's petrochemical and refinery sector is anchored by CPC Corporation (state oil company) operating Dalin Refinery (200,000 bpd, Kaohsiung) and Taoyuan Refinery, and Formosa Plastics' FPCC (Formosa Petrochemical Corporation) Mailiao complex — one of the world's largest integrated petrochemical sites (540,000 bpd refinery, 8.6 MTPA ethylene crackers, Naphtha Cracker No. 3). CSBC (China Shipbuilding Corporation) in Kaohsiung requires marine DNV/LR-certified valves.

CPC and FPCC Valve Specifications

Both CPC and FPCC primarily specify API standards (API 6D, API 600, API 609, API 526) for process valves, with JIS B 2071/2073 for some utility services. Vajra can supply valves with API stamping and JIS-equivalent documentation. Third-party inspection by SGS Taiwan or Bureau Veritas Taiwan is typically required.

  • FPCC refinery: API 600 gate valves (Class 150–1500), API 609 butterfly valves, API 526 PSVs
  • CSBC shipbuilding: DNV GL type-approved bronze and Ni-Al-Bronze sea valves (CC480K), Super Duplex seawater service
  • Nan Ya Plastics: SS316L and PVDF valves for PVC/PTA chemical service
  • Sea freight: Nhava Sheva → Kaohsiung — 14–18 days
