Piping Class A5A Valve Specification

Piping Class A5A covers ASME Class 1500 carbon steel valves — the rating class used for high-pressure gas transmission mainlines, HP wellhead headers, deepwater topsides, and HP hydraulic systems. Class 1500 is always RTJ faced. Pressure-seal bonnets are mandatory at this rating class. Butt-weld ends are common for bore sizes DN80 and above to eliminate potential flange joint leak paths at extreme pressure. Vajra Industrial Solutions supplies Class 1500 trunnion ball valves (API 6D), gate valves with pressure-seal bonnets (API 600), and Y-pattern globe valves to gas pipeline operators and offshore EPC contractors. Full API 598 hydrostatic shell test at 1.5× rated WP and seat test at 1.1× rated WP performed on every valve. EN 10204 3.2 mill certificates available.
