Piping Class D2A Valve Specification

Piping Class D2A covers Class 600 sour service (H₂S) at moderate temperatures, typically in gas processing, upstream oil & gas, and sour water strippers where H₂S partial pressure exceeds NACE MR0175 threshold. A352 LCC is used to combine low-temperature toughness (-46°C) with NACE compliance (22 HRC max hardness). All trim must be NACE-compliant. Stem packing must be graphite or PTFE; metallic components below the packing must meet hardness limits. NACE MR0103 compliance required for refinery environments.
