Piping Class Reference

Piping Class F1A Valve Specification

Piping Class F1A covers Class 150 duplex 2205 stainless steel service for seawater injection, seawater cooling, brine, and chloride-containing process streams where carbon steel and 316 stainless steel both suffer accelerated corrosion. Duplex 2205 provides PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) above 35, offering superior chloride pitting resistance compared to SS316 (PREN ~24). Used extensively in offshore platforms, FPSO seawater lift systems, desalination plants, and coastal refinery cooling water circuits. Vajra Industrial Solutions supplies Duplex 2205 (A890 4A cast / A182 F51 forged) ball, gate, butterfly, and globe valves to ASME Class 150 with full EN 10204 3.1 MTCs, ferrite content test, IGC (inter-granular corrosion) test, and NACE MR0175 compliance confirmation. Third-party inspection at manufacturer's works available.
