Industry × Valve Type Matrix

Which valve types serve which industries, in one grid — 65 application-specific combinations across 12 sectors. Find your industry, see its valve set, and open the application guide for each.

Which valve types does each industry use?

Every sector has a characteristic valve set: oil & gas leans on API 6D ball, gate and check valves plus actuated ESD valves; power generation on high-pressure gate, globe and safety valves; pharmaceutical and food on hygienic diaphragm and butterfly valves; LNG on extended-bonnet cryogenic ball and gate valves; mining and pulp & paper on knife-gate, pinch and abrasion-resistant valves; and water utilities on rubber-seated butterfly and resilient-seated gate valves. The matrix below maps each industry to the valve types we engineer for it — click any cell for the application-specific selection guide.

Each ticked cell links to an application-specific valve selection guide. A blank cell means we have not yet published a dedicated guide for that pairing — we still supply the full valve range to every industry.
