Which valves are used on a separator / pressure vessel?

Isolation Strategy
- Positive isolation (DBB or spades) before vessel entry - process vessels are permit-to-work isolation, never single-valve
- PSV isolation only under a documented management-of-change with interlocked spare paths
Maintenance Notes
- Level control valves in flashing service inspected on condition - trim life is measured in months on hard duty
- BDV stroke tests on the shutdown-system schedule, with tightness verified after every stroke
