Overview - ISO 17292

ISO 17292 is the international equivalent of API 6D for ball valves, widely required on Asian and Middle East tenders alongside or instead of API 6D - especially for projects outside North America.

Scope

ISO 17292 covers the design, materials, dimensions, testing, inspection, and marking of metal full-bore and reduced-bore ball valves for use in petroleum, petrochemical, and allied industries. It covers flanged, butt-weld, and threaded end connections in sizes DN 8 to DN 1200 and pressure classes PN 2.5 to PN 420 (Class 150 to Class 2500 equivalent). It is closely harmonised with API 6D and API 608.

Vajra Industrial Solutions manufactures and supplies valves engineered to comply with ISO 17292, each delivered with ISO 17292 compliance certificate and Hydrostatic test report as standard.
