Suitable Services

Hydroprocessing unit (HDS/HDT) gate and globe valves — high-temperature H₂+H₂S service

Catalytic reformer (CCR/Platformer) unit valves — high-temperature, high-pressure H₂ service

Vacuum distillation unit (VDU) heater outlet valves — 5Cr for sulphur resistance

Fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) main fractionator bottom valves

Not Suitable For

Cryogenic or low-temperature service (below −29°C) — use A182 F304/F316 or LCC

Strong organic acid service — austenitic SS or alloy preferred

Seawater or chloride service — subject to pitting corrosion

Valve Body Applications

Gate valve bodies for hydroprocessing unit (HDS, HDT) service

Globe valve bodies for high-temperature sulphur refinery streams

Ball valve bodies for catalytic reformer feed and effluent service
