Not Suitable For
Chloride environments (seawater, cooling water with Cl⁻) - use 316/316L or duplex instead
Strong mineral acids (HCl, H₂SO₄, HF) - nickel alloys or PTFE-lined required
High-temperature above +538°C - use F321 or F347 stabilised stainless
Sensitized service above 450°C - use F304L (low carbon) or stabilised F347
