ASTM A890 Grade 5A (Super Duplex 2507 (Grade 5A Cast)) is a duplex valve material. ASTM A890 Grade 5A is the cast form of Super Duplex 2507 stainless steel (UNS S32750) - a super duplex grade with 25% Cr, 7% Ni, 4% Mo, and 0.28% N that offers the highest corrosion resistance of any commercial duplex grade. Temperature range: −46°C to +300°C (−50°F to +572°F) - limited to +300°C to prevent embrittlement.
